| Reason | Contains Barberry (Berberis vulgaris) which contains berberine - a compound known to stimulate uterine contractions and is contraindicated during pregnancy. Also contains high selenium levels (250mcg, 455% DV) which exceeds recommended pregnancy limits, Turmeric which in therapeutic doses may stimulate uterine contractions, and Resveratrol with limited pregnancy safety data. The combination of these ingredients, particularly the berberine-containing Barberry, makes this product unsuitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. |
