| Reason | Contains Kava Kava which is STRONGLY contraindicated during pregnancy - can cross the placenta, affect fetal development, and is associated with hepatotoxicity. Also contains caffeine (75mg per serving), Huperzine A (acetylcholinesterase inhibitor with limited pregnancy safety data), Ginkgo biloba (increases bleeding risk), Holy Basil (adaptogen with potential anti-fertility properties), Bacopa and Yerba Mate (both with limited pregnancy safety data). The combination of these cognitive-enhancing compounds, particularly Kava Kava, makes this product unsuitable for use during pregnancy or breastfeeding. |
